Family & friends information sessions are held quarterly—once every school term—for family members, partners and friends of people who are experiencing symptoms of psychosis. The group runs for three sessions, and it is recommended that participants attend all three sessions.
The sessions provide an opportunity for you to learn more about the symptoms of psychosis, how they are treated, and the recovery experience. These sessions also give you a chance to ask questions, hear about a family peer support worker’s experience, and to make connections with other families going through similar experiences.
To find out when the next family & friends information sessions are, ask a family peer support worker, case manager or doctor.
